Brenda Fonseca

Brenda is responsible for strategic and operational leadership at Appcore along with the day-to-day operations. She focuses on maximizing the unique capabilities and potential of the individual employees at Appcore by streamlining work process strategies. Prior to joining the leadership team at Appcore, Brenda directed operations in the technology industry for firms including Computility, LLC and Growth Ventures Group, Inc.

She also served for seven years as Technical Director for Harvest Services, LLC. In addition, Ms. Fonseca brings in over 15 years of experience of leadership and process management within the Biotechnology industry through her management and engagement of neuroscience research laboratories at Northwestern University, University of Iowa, University of Washington, and University of Southern California.

Ms. Fonseca has published two books, a book chapter and multiple papers in the field of psychology and has a Master's degree in Behavioral Psychology from the University of Iowa. She is fluent in Portuguese and enjoys a challenging game of squash in her free time. Brenda is married to Alex, a former Professional Brazilian Soccer player, and together they raise their two children, Vitoria and Mario, in Indianola, Iowa.
